Alongside the Dressing Table (傍妆台) is a piece of royal music of Ming Dynasty (1368–1644 A.D.), which was digged out, modified and first played by Mr.Zhang Weiliang, a famous musician of traditional Chinese woodwind and a professor of The China Conservatory.
The music is played with Xiao (vertical bamboo flute) and Gu-Zheng (Chinese plucked zither), which describes the scene of a wife thinking of her husband on a long journey.
